One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is “Where are you located?”
The answer requires a bit of clarification. In general people associate a home care agency’s ability to provide service to their community with the location of its office. However, providing service to your specific location is more closely related to having Care Professional staff who live in your vicinity.
When Broad Street first opened its doors providing Premium Home Care services, the primary office location was, and still is, in Wilmette, IL. Actually, if you are familiar with Wilmette, you have probably been to Homer’s Ice Cream. Our office is in that same strip of businesses on Green Bay Road on the border between Kenilworth and Wilmette. We are located right in the center of those businesses – just south of Winnetka and 4 minutes from Evanston.
Our Team is Vital to Our Success
Our Wilmette location is a home base where mainly administrators, human resources and ancillary support staff work. One of the most critical aspects of our organization is our Human Resources team that recruits, performs thorough background checks and ultimately hires all of our Care Professionals.
These Care Professionals are actually spread out all over the Chicago area, North Shore and all stops East and West. From Hinsdale to Lake Forest. Barrington to Chicago’s Gold Coast. Evanston to Wheaton. Deerfield to Glencoe. And yes, Highland Park to Lincolnshire and beyond.
Our new Hinsdale home care office provides a central office location to help support the Western Suburbs more efficiently. There was an uptick in requests for support in towns surrounding Hinsdale, Barrington, Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace so it made sense to have staff working in the community. It also situates us to be closer to Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Arlington Heights and Downers Grove as well.
Having established ourselves in these locations enables us to better provide our services throughout the Chicago area. Delivering Premium Home Care services involves a highly Personalized approach to our clients and their families. Being integrated in the communities helps in delivering Premium, Personalized care.
Our clinical team provides much more than just Premium Home Care. They are Care Managers, Patient Advocates and provide Skilled Nursing to our clients who request these services.
As Care Managers, our clinical team works to coordinate services among many different resources. This could involve physicians, specialists, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists or other clinical and non-clinical support needed.
As Patient Advocates, our clinical team guides our clients through the healthcare process and works to assure that our clients are well informed and in charge of the procedures that are prescribed by their healthcare team.
As Skilled Nurses, our clinical team provide nursing services at a premium cost to our clients. This may involve Medication Management, Wound Care, IV Therapy, Feeding Tube, Injections, Catheter Care and monitoring of medical equipment and vitals.
Of course, all of these services are available to anyone whether you are a client of Broad Street or not and regardless of which office you are closest to. Our services are available to all. Whether you live in Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village or Des Plaines. Our team is happy to help.
Our Care Professional team is always growing to meet the needs of our clients. With the addition of our Hinsdale office, portions of our Human Resource team will be able to conduct face-to-face interviews with new candidates for positions right there in Hinsdale. In some cases, conducting interviews in our North Shore, Wilmette office will be more practical but it is good to know that we have staff to serve Mount Prospect, Buffalo Grove, Palatine and Barrington Hills.
