WHO WE ARE
How Our Service Works Best
Broad Street Home Care’s unique model of premium senior home care services makes us the top provider of personalized in-home care for elders in Chicago. While we can accommodate a variety of senior home care needs, we are best utilized in more engaged situations where we are managing a more customized home care solution.
Why are we better in these situations?
It centers on our people. Through a rigorous screening process, we work with the best caregivers and personal assistants in the North Shore and Chicago, including Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) with experience and training in a variety of senior care specializations. They are professionals, dedicated to careers focused on care for seniors. For their skills to be most effectively utilized, it often means more involvement with clients and more involvement with Broad Street Home Care.
The strength of our relationships with our Caregivers and Personal Assistants results in better overall home care service for our clients. In addition to establishing best practices in everyday tasks, the coordination with our Nurse Supervisors elevates the service where it can be more effective. This includes ensuring medication is taken on time, any underlying health conditions are being monitored and managed, and any relevant information is communicated.
With a more proactive approach to Home Care, Broad Street is not only able to handle more complex needs of seniors, but we are able to quickly adapt the service to continue to support our clients’ changing needs.
An Experienced and Professional Team
At Broad Street, we take a team approach to Home Care. Our Personal Assistants provide the core, serving as the conduit to a larger solution. Our skilled nurse oversight provides overall support in coordinating with your personal assistant, family members and other health care providers. The Professional Network and Concierge complete the solution by expanding the range of capabilities while remaining consistent and seamless.
Our Personal Assistants
All Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) are carefully selected based on experience and sincere passion for the work. Each CNA undergoes extensive and ongoing training in both personal care and active companionship to bolster capabilities.
Registered Nurses (RN) with experience in medical and non-medical care, in the home, as well as in hospitals and other care facilities.
Highly skilled, health-related specialists selected based on a track record of quality and responsiveness; they are involved in ongoing training programs and can be directly engaged in client care when requested.
Coordinated Concierge Medicine
Whether coordinating and planning care or managing overall healthcare and unexpected issues, Broad Street is there to help. Our Professional Network, along with Nurse Oversight, provides a single point of contact. Similar to Concierge Medicine, this eliminates the complexity of managing multiple professional network partners.
Providing Premium Care to the Chicago Area
Broad Street is committed to bringing the highest quality custom in-home care to the Chicago area. We service residents of the North Shore from Evanston, Wilmette and Northbrook to Highland Park, Deerfield and Lake Forest. We also serve the Western Suburbs from Barrington and Palatine all the way down to Hinsdale and Oak Brook and everywhere in between. This means you’ll always have a professional caregiver nearby.
