To do this, we have developed a Home Care Service that is focused on the development of our Care Professionals. These are individuals who provide care as a full time career, not just as a job.

Not everyone needs or wants this level of service. For those that don’t, we can still help with other services, or to simply help guide you in the right direction. But for those that need more significant support, our Direct Home Care Service involves Care Professionals who are experienced and trained to support your needs. They are dedicated and passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives.

We customize and personalize your home care experience based on your individual needs and preferences. We don’t start with a list of tasks; we look at your daily routine.

Premium Personal Home Care Services

Broad Street recruits and hires Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and other Care Professionals, then provides additional training under the supervision of experienced Care Managers with backgrounds in Nursing and Physical Therapy.

This ensures the highest level of personal care available. This includes assistance with all personal activities; the things that we need to do on a daily basis but can sometimes be difficult. Our Care Professionals use best practices that are hygienic and support your health and safety. Most of all, this support is provided in a discrete and respectful manner. Keeping personal things personal.

Direct Home Care:
A Team Effort

Our term for Caregivers, acknowledging their dedication to the Profession of Care, Broad Street Care Professionals provide the daily Home Care Support to our clients.
Provide oversight to Care Professionals. With clinical backgrounds in Nursing and Physical Therapy, Care Managers develop our Clients’ Plan of Service and then provide hands-on instruction and ongoing training to Care Professionals.
Responsible for resourcing, screening and hiring of Care Professionals, our HR department works closely with Care Managers to understand unique needs of our clients’, then work to place the best Care Professionals.
As a Premium, Concierge Level Home Care provider, we have access to a professional network that can provide additional services as part of your overall solution.

Specific Personal Care Services include, but are not limited to the following:

Bathing and Showering – Whether it’s standing nearby in case needed, or providing more direct support, we make sure safety and cleanliness are maintained, while also respecting your sense of privacy.
Restroom – This is a natural part of life, but also a key to staying comfortable and keeping healthy. Supporting this need in a discrete way preserves dignity while also keeping you balanced.
Personal Hygiene – Oftentimes, this can be very time consuming, even a hassle. Sometimes we even forget it or even skip it. Your Care Professional can support you in making this routine and easy, and ultimately clean, fresh and comfortable.
Dressing for the day – Broad Street home care professionals can help you look and feel your best while giving you more time to enjoy it.

With Broad Street’s customized, personal home care services established as the foundation, our Care Professionals also provide support with household requirements and maintenance.

Not only is it important to remain hygienic, but it also reflects how you want to feel and how you want to live.

Care Managers Are Involved With All Our Direct Home Care Clients

All of our Direct Home Care Services start with our Care Managers who get to know you and your needs and then work with you to develop a Plan of Service. They will then work with your Care Professionals to make sure they are properly trained to support you and your unique needs.

Once started, Care Managers will remain involved, collaborating with you and your Care Professionals and continuing to make adjustments to your changing needs. This involves greater attention to detail, proactive planning, continuous training, communication and collaboration.

The result is a consistent and very effective support system addressing your specific needs and preferences.

Home Care Support Services

Broad Street provides additional support service to the extent you need them and want them.

Nurse Oversight and Support – All personal care is supported by a registered nurse, but only to the extent you need it. Our nurses can be very actively engaged or simply supporting your care professionals, so they have all the resources they need to do provide you with the best home care service possible. Some of the benefits of Nurse Support includes:

Emergencies – Quick and efficient action in case of an emergency or to prevent one. Our Nurses and your Care Professionals can join you if you ever need to go to the hospital or doctor appointments, to keep you comfortable, advocate on your behalf to making sure you are getting the right treatment, and to keep you family informed, giving them peace of mind.
Communication – This includes real time communication and coordination with:
- Designated Family Members
- Primary Care Physicians
- Other Professional Healthcare Providers
- Emergency Services

Medication Management – Organizing your list of medications and timing. Also, instructing your Care Professionals who may be reminding you

Skilled Nursing – Provided an ongoing service when Medicare Home Health is not enough, or on a short-term basis to fill a specific need
