Broad Street Introduces the Stay Young Program

The Stay Young Program combines physical exercise, healthy nutrition and mental stimulation into a defined program designed to improve overall health and independence, all in the comfort of our clients’ homes. First, we provide physical trainers who are certified and experienced in working with senior adults. From there, we design exercise routines that are customized for individual fitness levels and desired levels of activity.

Secondly, we provide mental stimulation through brain exercises focused on memory retention, reasoning and information processing. By keeping the mind mentally active, our clients can not only stave off the potential effects of dementia or Alzheimer’s, but also remain more productive and independent in their daily lives.

Finally, we provide dieticians, who are skilled in assessing individual nutritional needs. Following an initial assessment, a healthy menu is established incorporating a variety of meal options and conformed to individual taste preferences.

Each facet of the Stay Young Program includes the active support of a Broad Street Personal Assistant. This includes providing encouragement and assistance during physical and mental exercise as well as meal preparation. All of this while tracking the results as our clients’ work towards personal goals.
